About the Opportunity
Recustom is rapidly growing its B2B presence, and is in need of a Full-Stack Engineer to help support the SaaS implementation.  Recustom has already partnered with external consultants to assess and evaluate the current tech environments/stack, and has recommendations for implementation.  This contractor will partner with the Recustom team and consultants to drive the implementation of our new SaaS platform and web app.
The ideal candidate would bring prior experience supporting software projects from requirements to production.  A nice to have: experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms—and coordinating legacy system migrations to that new platform.

Availability is required between 9am and 1pm Eastern M-Fri, as well as flexible hours to collaborate with global partners.

Responsibilities/Deliverables
Take architecture plans and lead a team through full-stack implementation
Be an individual contributor on the SaaS platform, from infrastructure automation all the way to the UI
Help prioritize, size, and implement features incrementally, toward an MVP and then production
Provide product managers with tradeoffs and business cases for adopting one or another approach through the architecture blueprints the team provides
Partner with project management team keep the project on track and aligned with business objectives
Provide management with levels of effort and budget estimates for technical requests
Support the implementation, maintenance, and uptime SLA’s of Recustom’s managed services
Participate in regular Scrum ceremonies as an active member of the product team
Support Recustom’s overall quality management process including SQA team
Provide input into  Recustom’s quarterly planning process (OKRs) from a technical feasibility standpoint   
Maintain a high level of security standards both for Recustom’s products as well as users / clients  
Provide timely support and resolution of technical issues in the form of root cause analysis (RCA)

About You
Highly detail-oriented, accurate, organized
Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills, both to other engineers and to non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable communicating and implementing a system component from high-level requirements, without direct engineering oversight
Receptive to both receive and provide continuous feedback (i.e. 360)
Flexible and adaptable to meet changing needs
Ability to estimate levels of effort, and deliver on commitments
Background working with tech startups  

Skills
2-3 years of relevant software engineering experience required
Familiar with serverless deployments, git ops, Postgres, GraphQL, and the React ecosystem   
Familiar with the tradeoffs of  modern software patterns like event-driven / reactive systems, API-first development, and microservices
Agile development experience required
Experience leading global technical teams is a plus
Tech lead experience a plus
Strong technical acumen, specifically with the needs of B2B SaaS systems
A balanced full-stack developer, with deep experience in building modern web apps
Demonstrated expertise in NodeJS and ReactJS
Product-focused engineering experience
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as an engineer—preferably also as a tech lead

Hourly Range: $30.00-$60.00
