adminDoor Renew of Central Iowa is hiring a front end developer or a designer with coding chops to be a crucial link in our design and landing page workflow. The primary responsibility for this individual is to take page designs from Adobe XD or Figma and translate them into real pages.
The scope of the first project is small and works as a bit of a test to see if we want to work together more. The project is to take a single page design from Adobe XD and translate it into a HubSpot Landing Page. The page is very simple, so this should be a pretty simple task to complete.
If that test goes well, the next project is to take a full website design from Adobe XD and create a custom theme in HubSpot CMS for that site.
# Project Details:
– Timeline: first project can begin immediately and will complete in the next week. If the working relationship is successful, this can turn into ongoing work.
– Budget: negotiable based on skills and experience
# Required Skills:
– HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Skills: Applicants should be proficient in these languages and capable of writing clean, efficient, responsive, and well-documented code.
– Communication and Collaboration: Applicants should have excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with our team. They should be open to feedback and able to iterate on the theme based on requirements.
– Testing and Debugging: Applicants should be thorough in testing the custom theme across different devices, browsers, and scenarios. They should also be able to troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during the development process.
– Documentation: This individual should provide clear documentation on how to use and maintain the custom theme. This includes any custom modules, templates, or functionality they have built.
# Bonus Skills:
We’ll be extra interested in applications with any of the following skills/knowledge:
– HubSpot CMS Experience: Experience working with HubSpot CMS is a plus, specifically in building custom themes. Understanding HubSpot’s best practices and guidelines for theme development would be great.
– HubL Knowledge: HubL is HubSpot’s templating language. Having a good understanding of HubL and how to use it to create dynamic templates and modules within the theme would be a plus.
– Design Skills: While not always necessary, it’s beneficial if this individual has some design skills or experience working, especially with tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
