Our project aims to create a user-friendly platform to connect consumers with service-based businesses digitally through a web platform. This service aims to create a user-friendly platform that aggregates all service-based businesses to a singular platform that works to: 1) Make it easier as a consumer to find a list of businesses that offer the services they seek and 2) To enable businesses to have a platform to advertise their services.
Description:
This is where you, as the UX/UI designer, come in to bring this project to life. As a designer, you will play a crucial role in creating web pages for the web application that shapes the visual identity and provides a seamless user experience for both consumer and service provider on the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our team to understand business goals, target audience, and design requirements.
Conduct user research to gain insights into the needs and preferences of our diverse user base.
Create wireframes that outline the structure and functionality of our web pages.
Develop a compelling design concept, including color schemes, typography, and overall aesthetics.
Produce high-fidelity designs for both mobile and desktop versions, ensuring a responsive user experience.
Generate a comprehensive style guide that includes design principles, color schemes, typography, and UI components.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a UX/UI designer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, or Figma.
Ability to conduct user research and translate insights into actionable design solutions.
Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and creating design systems.
Strong understanding of responsive design principles for mobile and desktop platforms.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team.
Previous experience designing for digital marketplaces is a plus.
