Hi, there! 😀 We are Larroudé, a luxury footwear brand based in the US (https://larroude.com/) and we are looking for someone to help us fix our QR Code credits program! 👠✨

THE IDEA: Each of our shoes has a unique QR Code, associated with that specific shoe. If Person A buys that pair of shoes, once they scan the QR Code, they can claim 20$, which are then saved in their Shopify account and should be shown at checkout for them to redeem. Also, if say a Person B scans Person A’s QR Code, and makes a purchase, both get extra 20$ – hence the QR would work as a referral program as well.

THE ISSUE: Right now, since Shopify’s Checkout Extensibility change, we are not able to apply the credits that are associated with the customer’s account. We also have several QR Codes that end up leading to an error page, which severely hinders our customer’s experience.

THE TASK:
– Clean the base code and structure of the system, so we have leaner, cleaner and more effective code.
– Implement the application on Shopify’s checkout using Shopify’s API to ensure customers will be able to apply credits.
– Test everything out and walk the team through the application!

TECHNICALITIES:
– Our application, as of now, is hosted on AWS (EC2).
– The application was built using Python.
– We used to apply credits on Shopify’s checkout using their REST API.

THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Aside from the technical skills necessary for the job (you need to be familiar with Shopify’s latest API updates, AWS, and the coding languages necessary to make it work, of course!), we need someone with the following skills:
Fluent English or Portuguese
Excellent communicator
Reliable and responsive
Organized and attentive to detail
We are based in three different cities, hence we have a very international team, which is why it’s ultra important that we communicate as clearly as possible.

Hourly Range: $15.00-$30.00
