We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ruby on Rails development, with proven expertise in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions. The role involves working closely with our product and design teams to develop and enhance our web applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and user experience.

Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code.
Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to understand requirements, propose solutions, and deliver on commitments.
Stay informed of emerging trends and technologies in the web development space.

Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
Strong knowledge of Ruby language and Rails framework.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Hotwire for building rich, interactive web applications without much JavaScript.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and key-value stores (e.g., Redis).
Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful APIs.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in developing e-commerce applications and integrating payment solutions, particularly with Stripe.
Must be available for at least 4 hours during US/Eastern timezone business hours (Monday-Friday).
