Main Goal:
– Develop an Ecommerce Website
– Ideally not using generic Ecommerce platforms
– Ideally using CSS

Business Type and Requirements:
– Our company is an Online Shop that offers paper related products such as Giftwrap Paper, Decorative Papers, Stationary and others. It is intended to be and is being developed to become the go to place to find paper products.
– The company operates from Costa Rica, hence it needs to include a suitable payment platforms that works with Costa Rican Banks, with payment options both in Costa Rican Colon and USD. Costa Rican Taxes must also be included. Payment options should be with card payment or Bank Transfer.
– We offer delivery services within Costa Rica only at the moment. We would like to include a delivery cost calculator as different regions of the country come with different delivery costs.  (Maybe it can be done using the distance in km from the Delivery Center/Warehouse. ) In the future we would  like to expand our delivery to places also outside the country.  We want to include a simple live tracking of the orders.
– We have an extensive product Catalogue which is divided into Categories. We need a shop landing page that can filter products according to Category, Product Type, Theme, Price, and Related Subjects.
– Finding what you need is sometimes a task. It is important to have a search bar in which clients can search for what they need faster and easier.
– Our products are generally not on the cheap side hence we need a website that speaks the same language as our products.  We need an interactive and user friendly interface. We want our shop to stand out and give our clients the confidence that they are indeed buying Quality Products.
– We pride ourselves with having an environmental and sustainable focus. We make sure and guarantee that all our products are made with certified materials and processes. We also donate a percentage of our sales to foundations and projects for reforestation and the protection of wildlife. Therefore we need to include an About us Page in which our story, our company and our donations are mentioned and eventually previewed in real time. (Total Donated and to whom)
– We offer B2B as well. It is important to include a section that includes our B2B information, prices, lead times and ideally that can be accessed only with a special login.
– Customization is possible, however minimum quantities are required. We would like to include this option on the site somehow. Also including information for minimum quantities, pricing and lead times. (Maybe it can be together with the B2B section)
– Costa Rica is a very multi cultural country and there are people from all over the world living there. We would like to be able to change the site language to at least Spanish and English. Pending the inclusion of other languages in the future.
– We have a relatively large inventory. We need for the site to allow us to keep track of the inventory and Updates automatically with each purchase. Giving us a notice for restock when needed. (Database)
– We like to know if our customers are happy with their products and we need the option to review the products to be available.
– When an order is set and payed for notice must be sent to the warehouse in order for them to prepare the order. In case of the bank transfer payment must be confirmed before order is sent to the warehouse. When orders are ready they need to be sent to delivery, hence order and delivery details must be also sent to the Driver.
– Bundles, Discounts and promotions are available. The promo code box must be included for the customer to input the code and discounts to be applied when applicable. Also, in our store, for certain products when a customer buys multiple of the same product within the same order, certain discounts apply. These must be updated automatically in the cart automatically and accordingly.
– We already own our domain and have a hosting.
– We need four our customers to be able to contact us so a Contact Form is required. We would also like to have a chat bot that can answer basic FAQ questions. And be redirected to our whatsapp or e-mail in case it is needed.

What We Need:
– Intuitive and User Friendly interface. (Our current site has proven to be complicated to navigate for our customers)
– Dynamic and Interactive site that stands out from the crowd.
– Minimalist and Elegant design
– Login that includes Customer Information, Orders, Wish List, etc.
– Fast loading time of the website. (Our current website takes a very long time to load resulting in the loss of customers)
– Popup Blockers (our current website is being attacked incessantly by hackers)
– Safety and Security (We dont feel safe having our orders processed in our current website because of all of the attacks and our customers dont either, this need to change)
– A PLUS would be a standby function in which the site site reacts in a certain way when it is left on standby or unattended.
