We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual proficient in deploying Rails applications on AWS EC2 instances. The ideal candidate should have expertise in configuring and managing deployment pipelines using Nginx, Capistrano, and Phusion Passenger.

Responsibilities:

– Deploy and maintain Rails applications on AWS EC2 instances.
– Configure Nginx as a reverse proxy server for Rails applications.
– Set up deployment pipelines using Capistrano for streamlined deployment processes.
– Ensure efficient utilization of Phusion Passenger for application server management.
– Monitor application performance and troubleshoot deployment issues as they arise.

Requirements:

– Proven experience in deploying Rails applications on AWS EC2.
– Proficiency in configuring Nginx for reverse proxying Rails applications.
– Strong knowledge of Capistrano for automating deployment tasks.
– Familiarity with Phusion Passenger for application server management.
– Ability to troubleshoot deployment-related issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Hourly Range: $15.00-$35.00
