I’m Alex, Product/Project Manager for World Soda, a mobile app being developed by Donut Apps, Singapore.

We have wireframed the concept and designed the MVP product look and now we are selecting a developer to build out the MVP app.

I’m reaching out to kick off the initial discussion with a few developers, with the aim of selecting one development team that will build out the World Soda app and possibly work with us to build further apps.

App description:

World Soda –  A mobile  app, community, and marketplace for people to know, acquire, review, share, and create community around the love of soda / non-alcoholic carbonated beverages.

App details:
Initially Android App, and possibly iOS later

Code / Language: React Native

MVP features are limited to:

– a database of sodas around the world
– a search / filter / list page
– splash page

In order to assess your services against other developers / development teams, please help to answer the following questions:

1) What is your process for getting an MVP app built out fast? Provide details such as agile, pm meetings, daily standups, documentations etc

2) Have you built apps on React Native before?

2a) Share 3 of your best React Native apps (NOT Kotlin etc)
2b) Pls name the main developer for each app (if you’re an agency)
2c) How long did each take to complete?
2d) Were these apps released for android / iOS or both?

3) What were the challenges you faced with using React Native and how did you overcome them?

4) How do you ensure that the project is finished on time?

5) How do you ensure that the product is handed over without bugs?

6) How much do you charge?

7) What are your working hours for a follow-up call next week (if you’re selected)?
