I need One Project Manager (40%), One DevOps Engineer (5%), One PHP Back-End Developer (100%), One QA (20%) and One Front-End Developer (25%), a designer to design a new luxury section on our site with a completely unique look and feel, for the next 4 weeks to help me speed up my platform to prepare for us Going-To-Market. The % stated in brackets is an assumed time required by our project for each resource.

Our platforms are built on CodeIgniter.

The (SPOC) Project Manager’s English needs to be Fluent and he/she needs to connect with me every morning, Monday-Saturday, 9am to 11am, Singapore time.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled team with backend expertise in both CodeIgniter 3 and 4 to join us in solving bugs and developing new functions and features as we specify. The ideal team must be well-versed in both front-end and back-end technologies, capable of designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that meet our needs. Knowledge of publishing PWA in official App Stores, EU GA4 Consent Management & site speed optimising by leveraging CDN and other tools is critical. A few server-side tasks during setup would be key (staging, Git, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

Front-end Development:
Improve our UI & UX for both Consumers and Advertisers.
Use a theme we purchased to translate design files into responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
Develop interactive, cross-browser compatible, and mobile-responsive front-end components using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and related technologies.
Utilize front-end libraries and frameworks as needed (e.g., jQuery, Bootstrap) to enhance user experiences.

Back-end Development:

Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and databases for web applications using CodeIgniter 3 and 4. Create and optimize database schemas, write efficient SQL queries, and interact with databases for data storage and retrieval. Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services as required. Ensure web application security by following best practices and addressing common vulnerabilities. Maintain repository by pushing daily updates through git after testing in a staging environment.

Code Maintenance and Quality Assurance:

Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot and debug issues as needed.
Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
Perform thorough testing to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of web applications.
Keep up-to-date with emerging web development trends, technologies, and best practices.

Project Management and Collaboration:

Collaborate with your internal cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Developers, Designers, QA testers, whoever needed, to deliver a high-quality project, on time. Contribute to project planning and estimation.

Qualifications:

1. Strong success track record on Upwork
2. Ability to submit one single website URL as a highlight of your completed work which has complex APIs running in the background and is visually appealing for consumers on the front-end.
3. The ability for the selected Project Manager to be the single point of contact from the point of application to project completion.

Should this project be completed successfully, on time, and with a positive experience, this will likely convert to become a long-term engagement.
